Pierre Bleuse

Den franske dirigent Pierre Bleuse er hurtigt ved at blive en af ​​de mest spændende og eftertragtede dirigenter. Pierre er for nylig annonceret som chefdirigent for Odense Symfoniorkester fra september 2021, samt som ny kunstnerisk leder af den berømte Pablo Casals Festival i Prades (Frankrig). TUGAN SOKHIEV

Internationally acclaimed conductor Tugan Sokhiev divides his time equally between the symphonic repertoire and opera—in 2021, among other places, at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. As a guest conductor, Sokhiev regularly leads several of the world's premiere orchestras: the Concertgebouw Orchestra, with which he toured in 2021; the Vienna Philharmonic; the Berlin Philharmonic; the New York Philharmonic; Boston and Chicago Symphony Orchestras; the Philadelphia Orchestra; and the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa among others.

Until recently, Sokhiev was also chief conductor of both the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse and the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. In light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, however, he has withdrawn from both posts, offering this comment:  
I have never supported and I will always be against any conflicts in any shape and form (…) We as musicians are given extraordinary chance and mission to keep human race kindhearted and respectful to each other by playing and interpreting great composers. We musicians are there to remind through music of Shostakovich about horrors of war. We musicians are the ambassadors of peace.

Cristian Măcelaru

Cristian Măcelaru was born in Timișoara, Romania. As the youngest of ten children, he received violin lessons at an early age. His studies in Romania eventually brought him to the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan; the University of Miami in Florida; and Rice University in Houston, where he studied conducting with Larry Rachleff. Măcelaru also took masterclasses at the Tanglewood Music Center and the Aspen Music Festival with David Zinman, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Oliver Knussen, and Stefan Asbury.

Klaus Mäkelä

Chefdirigent og kunstnerisk rådgiver i Oslo Filharmonien. Artistisk rådgiver og musikchef i Orchestre de Paris. Kunstnerisk leder af Turku Music Festival. Og første gæstedirigent i Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester. Så kort, og på samme tid så stort, kan Klaus Mäkeläs virke i en alder af 26 år beskrives.

Foruden gæstedirigent hos ledende orkestre rundt om i verden, kan Mäkelä opleves som cellist i kammermusiksammenhænge, f.eks. i denne sæson som ’Portrait Artist’ i Wiener Konzerthaus, på Verbier Festival og for første gang på Jurmala-festivalen i Riga med Mariss Jansons Festival Orchestra.

Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider

Dirigent og violinist Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider har netop indviet sin første sæson som musikchef for Orchestre national de Lyon. Han er fast gæstedirigent hos nogle af verdens førende orkestre, herunder Chicago Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Bamberg Symphony og Kungliga Filharmonikerna i Stockholm.

As a virtuoso world violinist, Szeps-Znaider maintains a busy calendar of concerts and chamber music. In the 2019-2020 season, he appeared as a soloist with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, and Konzerthausorcheter Berlin, as well as performing all of Beethoven's Violin Sonatas with Rudolf Buchbinder in the Viennese Music Association, also known as The Musikverein.

Szeps-Znaider is passionate about supporting the next generation of musical talent. He serves as president of the Carl Nielsen International Competition, which takes place every three years in Odense, Denmark. He plays on “Kreisler” Guarnerius “del Gesu” 1741, lent to him by the Royal Theater, and with support from the VELUX FOUNDATION, the VILLUM FOUNDATION, and the Knud Højgaard Foundation.
