The Carl Nielsen Festival is a classical music celebration premiering in Odense on Funen in the summer of 2022!
This annual event is Denmark’s new international stage for classical music. The Carl Nielsen Festival combines musical events with local experiences on the island of Funen, enriching Denmark's classical music culture while also making it more accessible to many more people!
Odense is the center of the excitement, hosting the festival's large orchestral guest performances, as well as the prom concert with the Odense Symphony Orchestra. Chamber concert performances at selected Funen manors feature soloists from the symphonic concerts honoring the best of Danish music life.
Every evening, the festival program concludes at Anarkist Beer and Food Lab in Odense, where guests can enjoy live music in a relaxing environment.
